Hey Glen, thanks for the info! I wanted to mention that while some of the e-mails appear to be originating from Russia, many are not, so it probably isn't costing them much if anything to send them out.. From what I can tell, it looks like they have hacked people's computers around the world (most likely through a virus that they are probably spreading on some free porn site or something) and are using these people's computers to send out the e-mails..

She asked me for $700 today. Should I send it? haha
A little more information about the Western Union or MoneyGram.
These are 2 different systems, but they works similar. You can choose any.
You can find any local Western Union or MoneyGram agent in your area. You need
to find it and go there to send the money under my name.
You will be asked for my full name and surname, my address in Moscow where
I am currently staying.
Here is all the info you need to know to make a transfer:
My address here in Moscow where I am renting my flat
country: Russia
city: Moscow
address: Lushina 23 flat # 89
postal code: 102021
full name: Natalia Tregoubova (i hope i spelled it correctly)
As soon as you provide them with this info they will be able to initiate the
transfer and I will be able to get this money in just 10 minutes in Moscow.
But I need to know Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) that the agent
will give you in order to pick up this money.

Perfect! Now send a fake name and fake 10 digit MTCN number for them to go and waste their time trying to pick it up :) You know, I'd be willing to bet that this scam is one method for funding terrorism.. The reason I say this is due to these comments in her 'I arrived in Moscow' e-mail:
When I get off plane in airport Moscow policeman asked about
passport and he looked at me like I am any enemy,
I think all people here are a little crazy at terrorism.
Seems like they are trying to spread fear about terrorism while trying to get us to fund it at the same time! Talk about some low-life mofos! My discovery of both completely separate scams (or so it seemed) being sent from the same exact e-mail software even supports this theory.. Organized crime at it's best!

no the next letter will tell her i am a member of the canadian military and i have made arrangments through my goverment to have her pick up the money at the canadian embassy she will have to produce her pass port , then after that she will not have to purchace a flight because a canadian military plane will bring her to canada .
we will see how far she wants to try and take this. this is the best oppertunity for her to come up with some reason why she cannot go to the canadian embassy right away that she needs money before doing this. the letter that should come after this one is about having here money sold by them cutting a hole in here bag where she kept her money.

the reference to terrorism is because of 911 they know how we feel about it and how close it is to our hearts . they know we will take it as her feeling this way and have pity on her and want to get her out of there as soon as possible and in what ever country we are in.
Ok guys this seems like fun we have all been smart enough not to loose anything.
But heres the problem for every one of us that never fell for it there are 30 men who will loose there 700.00 + dollars and thats not even the start of it. I search out sites like this one and expose these people who in Russia I figured out it is the Russian mafia. another way of telling if this is a scam is if your email comes in as under subject re(2) or something like that.
I'll tell you how i got on this in 2000 i got a letter like these I spoke with this woman for 4 months she never ask me for anything in that time. We made arraignments to meet in the Ukraine, she was with a agency that was going to provide all papers for her to come back on a finance visa . I made all arrangements to go to the Ukraine but made sure the ticket was refundable. While doing all this I was searching the internet as i felt why would this woman want to come live with right with out ever meeting or talking on the phone. What i found out was a shock some men that have fallen for this scam have never ever came back as the places they bring you into are crime infested. I was one of the lucky one all i lost was the cost it cost me to refund my tickets and the cost of the flat (room i rented for the time i was to be there). Could have been my life!!! Glen
